That involves flying somewhere? As of now, my parents say we can’t afford it, but we did used to go to places like California or Hawaii. I miss it a lot. Since I am getting a job, should I donate part of my paycheck every month to a “family vacation fund” and have everybody else in my family commit the same with their paychecks/allowance? We are a family of five. What are your suggestions? Any help would be great!

Yes, I’d set up a saving account just for that and only have two people authorized to use the money.And everyone should give at least a quarter of their paycheck that would want to go on a family vacation.
