The quarantine has been removed. Family members of H1N1 members don’t have to be quarantine. Even if you come in contact with a H1N1 patient, you will not need to be quarantine. This is because the disease is mild and is able to spread very fast. There’s no point quarantine someone at this moment.

Docs prescribe for both infected and direct contact members Tamiflu. The infected one is quarantine 7 days.
Nowadays, all common colds, flu, sore throat, fever … it may be H1N1.
It can both be mild or fatal depending on individual health status. Best prevention - WASH HANDS CLEAN, try to be in open areas.

    I think no need already.
According to what I read from the news papers, the ministry for health no longer does contract tracing and issues quarantine order for close contacts of H1N1 patients since we are no long using “Containtment” strategy.
If family members has flu, family members should monitor their own health closely and if they too shows flu-like symptoms, they should go see doctors in Pandemic Prepared Clinics.
Suggest you check the MOH website http://www.h1n1.gov.sg/

Of course, because family members are the direct contact. From our knowledge, it should be one week, after one week, the person who are suspected contacting with H1N1 infected has to wear mask.
