You can still keep that pet if it stays away from that person but that is only if they are notdeathly alergic to that animal!!!
    But always be careful!!!

some allergies are a living Hell! if people are allergic to pets, they should not be anywhere near them..

of course. if they think they are allergic, bathe the animal frequently because it is the dander or dandruff that they are allergic to. also, they can get allergy medication that is non drowsy from their doctor.

Yes! Of course. I have a relative who is allergic to my dog and although sometimes her allergies flare up badly, she’s near perfectly fine. She just can’t hold or pet the dog for a long time without getting itchy and stuff. As long as the dog doesn’t shed a lot and isn’t a long furred dog, it should be fine. Ask your family member to start taking allergy medicine…stuff that would help.
Our doctor said she would never be able to have a dog. That was a lie! We have had our dog for three years now and we have yet to see an extreme allergic episode from her.

    It depends on several factors.
Is the allergy life threatening? Then, no, you should not keep a pet around that person.
Can the person get injections or take medications to control the allergy? Then, if the person is willing to do that, there should be no problem keeping the pet.
Is it a family member, like a parent or sibling, that has to live in the house with the pet, or just someone like an aunt or uncle or cousin who only visits once in a while? If the person will not be in constant contact with the animal and its environment, then keep the pet. If the person has to live in the same house as the animal, it may be unfair to keep the pet (unless the allergy is controllable).
This is a discussion you should be having with the person who is allergic, to see what, if anything, they are willing to do (like take medication, get injections, not visit as often, etc.) and what, if anything, they expect you to do (get rid of the pet, bathe the pet often to control the dander, keep the pet confined to certain areas of the house, etc.)..

What are the symptoms? If its not bad, then i would suggest keeping it, but getting some medicine or cream if the symptom can be taken care of. If its serious, i would get rid of the pet.
