I want to create a full fledged face book profile but I want to keep it hidden from family members and google search. Is there any way to do that. I mean no body is able to locate my profile unless I invite them. I am sure somebody else also must had this privacy question like me and I am positive that there will be an answer. Thanks

Yes you can do this.
Once you log in, go to settings
Then Privacy Settings
Then just specify the levels you want for everything.

When you’re looking at your friend list, create a group for the people you want to only have limited access to your profile info. Call it ‘Family’ or ‘Private’ or something. Then, put each of the people you’re trying to hide info from into that group.
Under Settings, Privacy Settings, choose Profile. Under each of the areas listed, you can choose ‘Customize’, which should pop up a box with more options. At the bottom of that box, you can see a section of ‘Except These People’. Just put the name of the group you created in there, and you’ll have blocked their access to whatever areas you choose.
While you’re in there, you can put in a friend’s name and view your profile like they would. That way, you can confirm that the information you want hidden is, in fact, obscured.
