Is it correct ettiquette to send invitaitons to a graduation party bbq to all family members and friends even if I know they cannot come or it would be really hard for them to get here because of age or distance? Will they be offended if I just send a graduation announcement instead of an invitation??

You should send invitations because even though they can’t make it they would probably like to send you money or a gift that is a very big thing to celebrate and I always send money if I can’t make it.
